About
Meet Mike McMeans
I have lived in Hilliard and Central Ohio for most of my life. I graduated from Worthington Christian and The Ohio State University. My wife graduated from Hilliard Davidson and we both attended Avery Elementary. We have five kids and live in Norwich Township. I bring fresh perspective and financial skills as a financial planner and business owner for almost 20 years. I have helped build trust with the organizations with which I have been a part and have helped them grow. It is this skill and strategy that I will bring to Norwich Township. I thank you for your vote!

Issues & Plans
A fast-growing city and township require a different kind of approach to leadership. Here is where I think we can really make a difference.

Fiscal Responsibility
Everyone agrees making the most out of a dollar is wise. But beyond that, it takes real-world experience to know how to do the things that matter while staying on budget. In a growing community, making good use of funds is key to maintaining a great place to live, call home, and attract the right kind of growth.

Transparency & Proactive Communication
Staying informed isn't just a good idea. It's a right. As those who live here, we are entitled to the information and to know what is going on in our community. Business "behind closed doors" does not create trust. Anyone who wants to know what is happening here should be able to know, and key matters should brought to the voters, not to await discovery. Regular communication and ongoing opportunities to engage with elected officials must happen.

Smart Development
Ours is a thriving community in Central Ohio, one of the fastest growing in the country. This growth is very important and must be both maintained and encouraged. However, it has to be done with intention and care, honoring those who already call it home. As we continue to grow, we must do so thoughtfully and with local buy-in. Community involvement is a critical part of great civic development.
